One of the reasons I love being around my girl is because she is so inspiring to me. We share a passion for fashion - designing and making up so that although we didn't want to do anything but chill we did do a little making lol! I realised from spending time in her room since she redecorated that your environment is so vital to your creativity and quality of life. A bedroom can be just that - a room with a bed or you can make it so much more. Telly has done the latter with hers and I want that. Now I'm not talking bout stuff but making it inspiring so the dreams you have in your bed can come out and be made a reality if you know what I mean. She is not in love with her job, family as we all know can be a pain in the bum..there's so much that drains you that her room now serves as a haven to get away from all the rubbish and remind her of her dreams and ambitions. It is one of my goals to create an environment that encourages my creativity. As I spend so much time in my room, I wanna be more fruitful in it!
After chatting about boys (lol) I had a look through the latest Vogue and screamed when I saw someone I (and Telly) know in it. Now I am playing it fast and loose with the word 'know', he's someone I've met a couple of times through a mutual friend ha ha. I had heard about him through my friend before meeting him. He had customised a few of my friends things in particular a pair of jeans that were amazing. He also did some stuff for Boxfresh I believe, I could be wrong but I do know that a pair of trainers he customised were being sold/shown there lol anyway, his stuff were really great, I know that much! He's the kind of guy you meet for the 1st time and want to get to know - a really cool guy and you instantly feel his energy. In our short conversation I was so inspired by his confidence, his goals and dreams, style etc. When I saw him in the mag, I was reminded of how I felt the 1st time we met and to see him in Vogue I thought, "wow". It was a short piece but interesting all the same. His clothes are beautiful. I sum the look up as guys getting 'dressed' again..that's all I think when I see em. They're classic and bold and quality. Check him out - Adam Rogers, he's the one sitting down...
Here's a pic of the article in Vogue's current issue...
