I initially found myself hesitating for wanting these because they have been resurrected back into the mainstream...does that mean I'm a fashion-follow monkey for wanting them?? No, I don't think so anyway. I really don't want to make decisions based on what other people think is cool or not and so if people think that Dr. Martens are cool that's cool and if I like them too then I don't see why I have to be labelled. I do not want to be one of those people who in their bid to not look like everyone else, crap on everything that is considered 'mainstream' or 'for the masses' fashion. If I like and you don't, that's great. If I like it and you do, that's great.
