Swimwear

I'll be going to the beautiful Barbados in a few weeks and I am so looking forward to it! I seriously need a holiday one that includes the sun, beach and is far away from home - so I've lucked out!

For all my prior holidays I've always gone out to buy new things to wear out there but I really don't need to this time as I feel I have everything I need except for swimwear. I do have some but I feel that a new one or two is necessary. I'm always shocked by how hard it is to find something I actually really like; that's flattering for my body type and size and reasonable in price.

Here are some I quite like the look of over at American Apparel.



I'll have to try these on because the sizing is sorta dubious at AA.

What I really want is something more 50's inspired.

I've always like the look of this one from Toast and was able to find a similar but much cheaper one (this one goes for £65!) at M&S a couple of years ago when I went to the Bahamas. I'm seriously thinking of creating one myself in that old school style; high waisted low cut leg knicker-shorts with a halter neck bikini top..how hard can it be?
