Ann-Sofie Back

I really liked Ann-Sofie Back's A/W 08 collection.  Inspiration stemmed from the infatuation we have today with female celebrities and resulted in pixelated images of the 'OK' & 'Heat' logos, clothes that seem to be unravelling paying homage to Kate Moss when she ripped her dress accidentally and just customised it as best she could.  Over embellished garments were inspired by the piercing of Paris Hilton (I never knew she had any...?) and with so many celebs caught with their underwear on she Back worked garters and g-strings into the collection too.  The pieces were great.  I especially loved the unraveling clothes.  Really wanted some of the stuff she had created for online retailer Oli but alas never got anything.

Found these on Browns' Fashion the other day which reminded me of the aforementioned unravelling clothes.  It's the small details she adds that make her great in my mind.

Grey pencil skirt with uneven hem - £165

Grey Bandeau dress with uneven hem - £215

Cream & Black tees with uneven hem both £125 each
