I'm really excited!! I can't sleep. Just been doing some designs for TV prototype Tee's and I'm happy with how they're turning out. We're sourcing suppliers and printers and getting the costs settled and all that and God-willing we will have samples made up by this month and be able to start production in Decemeber!!
Let me give you a little history on True Vine. Sitting in evening service one...well, evening, my sister and I received the same revelation at the same time without even exchanging words. Divine indeed! The whole way home we shared what we envisioned in shock that we were both in agreement and finishing off each others sentences. That night we knew the name of the company, True Vine and what we would want to achieve through it. The name comes from John 15:1 which speaks of Jesus being the true vine and we being the branches and God is the tender of the garden if you will. We as branches are created (think on that, I'm talking about purpose and original intention) to bear fruit and more fruit. Those of us that don't, are 'barren' therefore get cut off. My sis and I felt that this vision was us bearing fruit, carrying out what we were created to. Yeah this is all a bit deep, may be too deep for some but that's why I am so excited and so devoted because this is no 'pizza dream', we didn't conjure this up.
So the seed was planted in late '03/early '04 and now is beginning to sprout and I cannot contain what I am feeling yet cannot express it exactly in words! Hold tight for some sneak previews, soon come!
True Vine is a lifestyle not just a lifestyle brand. Everything we believe in is poured into this and the hope is that it is seen, felt, and known by all that wear T.V. We are not just wanting to make some p's off of printing tee's. We are designers passionate about this and cannot wait to unleash it, it's been a long time coming...it's our time!!
